Visit of the delegation of the Netherlands Council for the Judiciary in Warsaw
Following the invitation from the chairman of the National Council of the Judiciary of Poland, the 4-member delegation of Raad voor de Rechtspraak visited Poland between 25-27 January, 2017. The delegation was headed by Mr. Frits Bakker, President of the Council and also comprised: Mr. Kees Sterk (Vice-president of RvdR), Mr. Frans van Dijk (RvdR Director) and Ms. Ymkje Lugten (advisor for international cooperation).
The visit was and occasion fotr mutual exchange of experience and comprised visits in the most relevant institutions associated with functioning of the justice system. Mr. Frits Bakker, member of the ENCJ Executive Board, was also an ENCJ envoy reporting the current state of affairs related to current and planned legal and institutional changes in polish judicial power.
